Ten of us just completed our Glory of the Ulduar Raider (10-man) a few minutes ago. Basically we cleared out every single hard-mode achievement required for the Drake in this singular lockout, though the only achievements we were all missing until this week were One Light in the Darkness and Firefighter. Supposedly a Horde first for BDF (yet again!), so I’ve been told. Personally, I’ve got my eye on his Ironbound big brother next!
I’m a bit late on this but we completed Thorim hard-mode (Heroic: Lose Your Illusion) on June 11th and Hodir hard-mode (Heroic: I Could Say That This Cache Was Rare) on June 14th. I could post the screenshots of us standing around like assholes in front a chest of goodies but those suck so everyone will have to make due with these:
Our phat lewts were Wisdom’s Hold from Thorim and Gloves of the Frozen Glade from Hodir.
Also, big lewlz regarding the huge nerfs to Flame Leviathan hard mode and XT-002 hard mode this week, FL+4 is basically equivalent to +3 now, XT’s strict DPS and raid healing checks are completely gone, and I think about a half dozen guilds have gotten both hard modes right away this week. JUST REMEMBER WHO DID THE REAL DEAL, MOTHER FUCKERS!
I foresee more hard modes completed in the near future, stay tuned!
We put a wrap on Iron Council hard mode tonight, with YET ANOTHER 80k HP wipe one attempt before downing him, WTF?! And yet again another crappy piece of mail loot, Greaves of Swift Vengeance. Not a bad week.
Oops, I forgot to post this last week. We got XT-002 hard mode in 25-man on June 4th, after a heartbreaking — no pun intended — wipe @ 0.2% (80k HP) after enrage earlier in the night. Our extra ilvl239 loot was Gloves of the Steady Hand, which is pewp and should have been a neck or a plate chest.
Flame Leviathan with all four towers up! Loot was Golden Saronite Dragon. Why do these things always happen at the last minute possible??
