After multiple 1% wipes, with time ticking down before the weekly reset, we desperately sought help from the powers above, turning to our spiritual guide Durango for some heavenly inspiration…

Well that didn’t work so well immediately… but a call for “One last shot” paid off in standard Wicked Mojo style: Our first Brutallus kill on the last attempt of the night!

It’s been too long coming, but that’s what happens when you have to replace about 1/3rd of your raiding core to Summer time doldrums. A big congrats to all who made this possible, a lot of hard work to get this guy down, and hopefully a sign of more good things to come.

We’re currently looking for the following classes for full-time raiding (updated 06/25):
1 Protection Warrior (position filled)
1-2 Holy Paladin (position filled)
1 Mage (position filled)
1 Warlock (position filled)
1 Hunter (position filled)
1 Shadow Priest (position filled)
1 Elemental Shaman (position filled)
1 Holy Priest
1 Feral Druid (tank)
We prefer that your character is well-geared in T6+ or equivalent gear, and if not you have experience with full T6 content and are an exceptionally dedicated & skilled player. Having a well built offspec suit for appropriate classes is also a big plus. Attendance requirement is 90%+, 8pm-12am Sunday to Thursaday. A stable computer and Internet connection are a given. We’re not recruiting you to play any other class other than what you were recruited for in raids. Leaving early/coming late on a regular basis is unacceptable, so if you have a job/gf/bf/commitment that will cause regular problems with the raid times listed, please look elsewhere. If you’re in the middle of a real life crisis hold off for now and app when you can meet attendance requirements.
With regards to gear, we’re flexible if you show us that you are a very talented and knowledgeable player who is, for instance, rerolling another class and therefore doesn’t have the gear yet but is definitely at the top of their game. Or perhaps you were the top player in your old guild and are looking for a guild more up to par with yourself.
We don’t subscribe to the philosophy that yelling, screaming and picking on players for mistakes is a healthy atmosphere for raid progression or the longevity of the guild. We want players to feel welcome and enjoy playing the game, simply ready to do their jobs to the best of their ability for raids and feel at home the rest of the time. If you have anger control issues or enjoy creating/stirring drama either in-guild or out of guild, you probably won’t last long and probably won’t have much fun either while you’re here. On the opposite end of the spectrum, you can be the nicest guy ever, but if you’re lazy you’re doing everyone else a disservice and even if we like you we’ll have to replace you.
To summarize, we want people who are here to have fun above all else and have the discipline and dedication so that it’s fun for all other 24 people as well.

Grats Meowmeows!! Just for the record, we’ve gotten more glaives than shields (0), Cursed Vision (1) and maces (0)… not that I’m complaining ;o

We’re back. Been farming Illidan for his sweet, sweet epics (no Glaives yet ;( ) for a couple of months now. Continuing our tradition, on our last possible attempt of the night of a new boss, we eeked our first major battle in the Sunwell Plateau: Kalecgos! A close-call on this one, but we pulled through to save the day. Onwards to Brutalus, one fight I’m really looking forward to, let’s see our DPS shine!

It’s been a great journey, ladies and gents. We felt it coming last night, we knew we had it, tonight we walked in and one-shot Illidan with near perfect execution. Would like to thank each and every person who helped make this happen, it’s one thing to be in an end-game guild, it’s quite another to also be in one that also has so many mature, decent human beings. We’ve had more than our fair share of major hurdles over the years, but from a culmination hard-work and a lot of heart from all our members both old and new got us past all of it. We can now say that we’ve reached the pinnacle of World of Warcraft, and while we might not have been the fastest in the world I will say with pride that it was with one of the world’s greatest crew of people.
